Reese Witherspoon's Former Home Hits the Market for $16M

The 8,772-square-foot Bel Air estate Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe once shared together is on the market for $16 million. The former couple, who divorced in 2007, sold the home in 2004 for $4.5 million.

The listing describes the nearly .91-acre setting as “park-like” with plenty of photos to prove it.

Manicured grounds surround a swimming pool and spa area. There is also a full outdoor BBQ area.

Inside, the setting is equally as serene. The home’s church-like great room features a soaring pitched ceiling, brick fireplace and massive windows. The kitchen offers an Instagram-quality backdrop of white cabinetry, marble backsplash and top-of-the-line appliances.

Despite being out of Witherspoon’s hands for more than a decade, the four-bedroom, five-bathroom home, built in 1969, is every bit as charming as the domestic powerhouse.

Witherspoon launched her lifestyle brand, Draper James by Reese Witherspoon, in 2015 as a nod to her Southern upbringing. Snippets from the actor’s Instagram feed reveal an affinity for stripes, gingham and all things family related. The Big Little Lies actor is raising her three children, two of whom she shares with Phillippe, with husband Jim Toth and frequently shares moments from the family’s life with her 10.6 million followers.
