Rock Legend Gene Simmons Relists His LA Mansion for $25M

Gene Simmons, the famed bassist and co-lead singer of KISS, has relisted his Beverly Hills mansion. In contrast to typical relisting behavior which often sees price cuts, Simmons has upped the price since it was for sale in 2020. Asking a whopping $3 million more, the rad estate awaits a buyer asking $25 million.

You might be asking yourself, “Why such a large jump in price?” Joshua Altman of Douglas Elliman, who is handling the listing with his brother Matt Altman, told Mansion Global, “Mr. Simmons did improvements to the house, with well over six figures put into the house.” The agent also reportedly believes it was underpriced the first time around.

Owned by the rocker for nearly 40 years, the 13,405-square-foot home spares no luxury. Guests are welcomed via a curving drive that passes a tennis court and reveals the extravagant custom facade. Walking through the full lite entry doors, the stunning two-story foyer makes a major statement. Along with the seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and two half-bathrooms, this opulent manor contains a vast amount of large windows flooding the interiors with the constant California sun.

Looking to the outdoors, the home also features an expansive alfresco living area and a pool. With ample glass doors leading the way to backyard bliss, there is plenty of room to rock out.

While enjoying the scenery, privacy is not a worry either. The lush landscaping and tall trees seal off unwanted eyes, including paparazzi. The palatial abode seems made for those seeking a lavish LA refuge, with iconic Rodeo Drive always close by.
