See How Aerin Lauder Entertains For The Summer
At her home in Wainscott, Lauder celebrates life’s pleasures with her friends.
Businesswoman Aerin Lauder is no stranger to the entertaining world. This summer, the New York native invited friends to her Wainscott home, kicking off the season after months of social distancing. “After a year of being apart,” she says, “I was very excited to have a group of great women together again.”
Before dinner, Lauder and her guests gathered for drinks and hors d’oeuvres in an elegantly decorated living room. In the nearby dining room, floral arrangements from Bridgehampton Florist embellished an elaborate table. The hostess explains, “I like to create an inviting environment—a ton of flowers, candles, music, and a great mix of people of all ages.”
Chef Andrew Dorschner presented the main course and side of locally grown vegetables, served on Paulette plates from Aerin. Dessert included cakes from Carissa’s Bakery and Gail Watson Bread.
