'Shark Tank' Star Barbara Corcoran Sells Her Upper East Side Apartment for $4.87M
As founder of the Corcoran Group Real Estate empire and a shrewd investor on ABC’s Shark Tank, Barbara Corcoran probably had a slight advantage when it came to selling her Park Avenue co-op. It shows, since the apartment closed for very close to the list price (just $30,000 less than the $4.9M ask) and after only being on the market for just over a month, reports Curbed. Corcoran’s Kerry Martin Verille and Edith Salton represented the listing.
The eight-room, 2,700-square-foot residence is a corner unit in a Rosario Candela-designed building and manages to give off a country-cottage vibe despite its location on the Upper East Side. The apartment opens to a 40' gallery, which leads into a corner living room that boasts gorgeous views and a wood-burning fireplace. A spacious formal dining room faces West, offering a view of Central Park and the Reservoir. The layout currently has three bedrooms, but a home office could easily be converted into a fourth.
