1/19Photographs Courtesy of Coldwell BankerIt isn’t a surprise that when Olympic snowboarder Shaun White decided to settle into a permanent residence he chose California sunshine over the icy slopes he’s famous for shredding. In an unexpected turn, the champion athlete has decided to part ways with his Malibu oasis. The gold medal-worthy compound consists of two residences listed at a combined price of $27.25 million. According to Variety, the two houses are being marketed separately, by listing agents Chris Cortazzo and Lily Harfouche of Coldwell Banker. The first of the two listings is a three-bedroom and four bathroom bluff top haven. The single-family home welcomes guests in with its rustic-style hardwood floors and high ceilings that contribute to its breezy air. The 180 degree views of the ocean complete the already picturesque setting which offers outdoor entertaining necessities including a private patio, al fresco dining set up, fire pit and barbeque.Just as impressive, the second listing is a three bedroom two bathroom sanctuary where buyers can escape to the impeccable ocean front pool. Inside, the abode opens into a fluid floor plan where one can move between the living room, dining area and outdoor balcony with ease.We have yet to find out whether these two residences will remain as a set or be sold to separate buyers. But it is certain that whoever resides in these tropical bungalows is sure to delight in the ocean-front majesty of Malibu.Photographs Courtesy of Coldwell BankerIt isn’t a surprise that when Olympic snowboarder Shaun White decided to settle into a permanent residence he chose California sunshine over the icy slopes he’s famous for shredding.
