Singer-Songwriter Taylor Dayne’s Contemporary L.A. Home Asks $2.5M

Known for hit singles “Tell It To My Heart” and “Love Will Lead You Back,” Taylor Dayne is an iconic singer of the ’80s. Born in New York and then growing up on Long Island, the musician didn’t always called Los Angeles home, but has held a spread there since at least 2015. That’s when public records show that the singer picked up this Valley Village contemporary that she has now listed for $2.495 million.

The Beeman Avenue residence has some Spanish-style flair, typical of SoCal homes, but a complete redesign has modernized its look as well. Boasting all the markings of a transitional house, the white stucco exterior has black windows while the interiors display open spaces. There are two structures on the gated property, the main house and the studio, that make up its 3,864 square feet of living space.

Met at the front door by a sweeping staircase with a wrought-iron railing, you can ascend to four of the home’s bedrooms while one is situated separately on the main floor. The primary suite upstairs stands out with its double door entrance and is complete with a walk-in closet, ensuite, and private balcony.

The studio near the pool out back can be used in many ways. A new owner could enjoy it as ectra hang-out space or convert it into something like a recording studio or artist’s workshop. Michael J. Okun of Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing.
