Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello List Revamped Beverly Hills Mansion for $19.6M

In 2014, Modern Family was five years into winning the hearts of viewers. And, the show’s ensemble of stars, many of who were experiencing their rise to fame, was experiencing the perks. It was in 2014 that Sofía Vergara nabbed this Beverly Hills residence for $10.6 million, according to Business Insider. Since then, the 90210 mansion has been home to Vergara and her husband, actor Joe Manganiello, and now the pair is looking to sell it for $19.6 million.

What could justify a $9 million price bump? As well as a strong L.A. luxury market, the almost 11,400-square-foot house has seen a refreshing remodel with the couple’s guidance. Built in 2006, a time when rustic details and heavy wood was all the rage in luxury home design, they massively brightened things up.

Pivoting from a moodier French Normandy-esque style toward something more Provencal, the kitchen has an elegant new range, lighter stained wood beams, and a white color palette. Many other spaces got a makeover, too, including the downstairs wet bar, which draws the eye with dramatic black and white contrast.

Allowing for the home’s fashionable moments, it has ample space to get creative with. There are seven bedrooms and 11 full bathrooms, but that’s just the start. For evenings of entertaining or mornings of wellness, the property offers a home theater, full-size gym, wine room, and dreamy backyard with a pool, spa, and BBQ area.

Barry Peele of Sotheby’s International Realty has the listing, sharing, “They lived there for 8 years and decided they wanted a bigger house in the same neighborhood, so they up-sized.” Outdoing this Beverly Hills manse in square footage, whatever they moved on to must be quite a spectacular sight.
