Stevie Wonder Spent Years at This Beverly Hills Home Now on the Market for $11M
Isn’t this Beverly Hills home lovely? Legendary singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder seems to think so, as he leased the property from the owner from 2011 to 2015. Now, quite some time after he moved on, the L.A. spread has popped up for sale asking $10,999,999.
The updated circa-1970 home sits on just under a half-acre of land and is located behind gates in the Trousdale Estates, placing an emphasis on privacy and prestige. With the neighborhood’s history of celebrity residents, from comedian David Spade to actress Jane Fonda, a block party here would likely be star-studded.
Besides the allure of the neighborhood, the Hollywood Regency-style residence has much to offer—from a large outdoor living area and swimming pool to panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the city of Los Angeles. “The views this home projects are unlike any other,” says Kyle Siwik, one of the listing agents. “The way the ocean and city dance in one single eye frame; they come to life at night with lucent stars for a picture-perfect display.”
The 90210 home spans 6,217 square feet and totals four bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It also boasts an updated kitchen, underground four-car garage, and office flex room, which could be turned into anything from a yoga room to a music studio.
“Music has a way of bringing nostalgia to life anytime you enter a room where hit songs have been played,” says Holland Ashrafnia, another listing agent. “The walls in this home hold so much history from the ‘Wonder’ days and I had a feeling when I walked this home that if these walls could talk, you might hear Wonder and Quincy Jones re-living their 1972 ‘You’ve Got It Bad’ album days.”
The listing is held by Holland Ashrafnia, Aleks Lipovic, and Kyle Siwik of The H Group at AKG | Christie’s and Aaron Kirman of AKG | Christie’s.
