Sylvester Stallone Nabbed a Buyer for His La Quinta Oasis a Week After Listing

It only took Rocky star and creator Sylvester Stallone a week to find a buyer for his La Quinta home this round of listing it. Now, that’s a KO in the real estate world. The Mediterranean-style residence, with its classic red tile roof and dreamy desert landscaping, originally sought $3.35 million back in May and the deal has closed for a slightly less $3.15 million.

In early 2010, Stallone picked up the property for $4.5 million, so he did take a loss on the deal. According to Variety, the iconic actor actually first tried to unload the house right after buying it in 2011. It has been off and on the market a few times since, so despite the drop in price, Stallone can now feel accomplished to finally be the champion of a swift sale.

And just in time for the new owner to enjoy summer. The home seems to be a perfectly serene spot to spend warm days. Located a few hours southeast of Los Angeles in the coveted and guard-gated Madison Club, the terracotta residence spans 4,889 square feet and tallies 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. It has a huge pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen, and a fire pit.

As classic as Sylvester Stallone’s name is in Hollywood, the home features a barrel-vaulted entrance foyer and a 32-foot living room with double-height ceilings. A true knockout Stallone is glad to have knocked out of his real estate holdings.

Josh Reef of Douglas Elliman held the enchanting listing.
