Taylor Swift Just Scooped Up A Tribeca Townhouse for $18M

Taylor Swift, who has kept a low profile for the last couple years, is back and making a splash in music and in real estate. According to the Post, the mega popstar just said “you belong with me” to a Tribeca townhouse with an unsavory past for a cool $18 million.

Way before Swift spotted the four-bedroom pad, French politician Dominique Strauss-Kahn used it as his NYC hideaway while he was under house arrest in 2011 for disturbing sexual assault charges.

Despite that unfortunate connection, the three-story townhouse built in 1915 stuns after a gut renovation executed by renowned architect Leopoldo Rosati. The spread has a contemporary feel and offers high-end finishes like Miele and Gaggenau appliances, Italian limestone bathtubs, French wide plank oak floors, and custom steel staircases, according to an older listing. Luxurious features like a private roof deck, home theater, spa steam bath, and gym sweeten the deal further.

Records show that the townhouse, which was last purchased in 2012, was recently bought off-market by Euro Tribeca LLC. The company is linked to Jesse P. Schaudies, a lawyer on Swift’s management team who has represented her in numerous real estate endeavors.

Creating quite a cozy corner for herself downtown, Swift’s new 27-foot-wide home neighbors a duplex penthouse she bought back in 2014 for $19.95 million.

With her highly anticipated album, Reputation, dropping on November 10th, the 10-time Grammy winner is making headlines left and right. As she lines up her NYC residences, “Queen of Tribeca” is sure to be one of them soon.
