The CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts and SFMOMA celebrated the opening of Viennese artist Markus Schinwald’s eponymous exhibition on September 9. The evening also inaugurated new Wattis Director Anthony Huberman’s 2014–2015 program for the institute. Guests toasting San Francisco’s commitment to contemporary art included SFMOMA Director Neal Benezra, CCA President Steve Beal, Gary Garrels, Helen and Chuck Schwab, Ravin and Alka Agrawal and Catharine Clark.
