Tom Cruise’s 320-Acre Telluride Estate Lists for $39.5M

As an A-lister, Tom Cruise’s name is a frequent flyer in the headlines. Most recently, that was due to the COVID-related happenings on the set of the latest Mission: Impossible movie. A heated address delivered by the actor to his crew swept the internet late last year. Now, the big news is that Cruise is ready to part with his stunning 320-acre Telluride estate. Listed for $39.5 million, the star’s Colorado home has never before been on the public market and would be changing hands for the first time ever.

Custom built by Fortenberry Construction for Cruise, the home has a classic log cabin look with luxury around every corner. The listing describes the entire estate as “the realization of years of planning and vision.”

The ranch sits nestled just below the mountains and its majestic vistas cannot be exaggerated. There is nothing between the home and slope, only alpine trees. Utterly secluded with a one-mile driveway leading from a secure gate to the property, it’s a natural fit for a high-profile actor like Tom Cruise. But anyone (with almost $40 million to spend) could find peace here, with the views making wonderful company.

That’s not to say there isn’t room enough for all. With a nearly 10,000-square-foot main house and a guest lodge not far, a veritable entourage of family and friends can tag along to the property at any given time. There are seven bedrooms and nine full bathrooms in total. Mansion Global reports that a snowmobile and dirt bike track, a network of trails, and a large sports court also exist on the estate’s vast landscape.

Dan Dockray and Eric Lavey of Sotheby’s International Realty hold the listing.
