Tour a Luxury Model Residence Designed by Alex P. White

With his provocative and unconventional style, artist and interior designer, Alex P White, has taken the design world by storm. The highly admired and talented designer, who started his own firm last year, has honed his artistic abilities to create a masterful model residence on 196 Orchard Street at the intersection of the East Village, NoHo, and the Lower East Side, where fellow designer Timothy Godbold has also developed an extraordinary residence. Drawing inspiration from the neighborhood’s 1980’s emerging punk rock scene, White beautifully created a space that encapsulates luxury living and simplicity.

With an exquisite Nero Marquina marble backsplash, plaster wall finishes, and concrete ceilings, this illustrious one bedroom, one bathroom residence sets itself apart from any other. A sleek, modern color palette allows for the luxury design and unique details to shine. A custom built-in platform sofa upholstered in carpet and Belgian linen takes center stage in this apartment, drawing guests through the long open space that combines the kitchen and living area. Sculptural artwork by Mary Little adorns the walls adding texture to the design driven space.

Art and inspiration carries through the home and to its own 452-square foot private terrace, which boasts a gas barbecue and entertainment area.
