Twin Peaks in Southampton Breaks Records with Monumental Sale
The Hamptons is home to many lavish listings. Need proof? The priciest home for sale in the affluent area is currently asking $175 million. That expensive spread is located on the water, but inland, properties also make a splash. Kean Development’s Twin Peaks estate in Old Towne just sold, becoming the highest sale off the water in the Hamptons on four acres. It changed hands in an off-market deal, with the shingle-style house closing for $34.5 million. Tempted by a four-acre contiguous lot, the new owners also snapped up neighboring land they can choose to develop further. Calculating that in, the final spend was $48 million.
Spanning 20,000-square-feet, the custom home was designed and built by John C. Kean. It’s filled to the brim with luxurious amenities, including a bowling alley, theater, elevator, rooftop putting green, and a full spa with a steam shower. But that’s nowhere near all the estate has to offer.
The new owner can take the elevator up and down the three levels, visiting any of the 10 bedrooms or breezing into the chef’s kitchens. The opulently outfitted mansion is complemented by comprehensive outdoor amenities, too. Boasting a heated gunite pool, spa, pool house, tennis court, firepit, and outdoor kitchen, every moment here will feel like living at an East Coast resort.
Kean Development has sold each of the highest-priced homes off the water, breaking its own record with Twin Peaks. With the summer season in full swing, who knows what monumental Hamptons deals will go down next?
