Tyra Banks Sells Pacific Palisades Contemporary Fast and for Full Ask
Supermodel Tyra Banks listed her Pacific Palisades home for $7.895 million in late November. But, this knockout property didn’t stay on the real estate runway for long. After less than two months, the LA contemporary has sold for its full asking price.
Spanning 6,160 square feet, the five-bedroom, six-bathroom residence feels light, bright, and certainly spacious. Offering panoramic rooftop views of the ocean and staggering mountainscape, it’s no wonder a buyer claimed the property so quickly. Outfitted with a gym, a media room with a 120-inch projection screen, and an infinity pool, the home is a true West Coast oasis. Or, as Banks said about it when it first listed, “This house has been ‘smized’ with a WOW factor!”
An LA native herself, Banks had the savvy to pick up a property in one of the city’s snazziest neighborhoods. The Pacific Palisades has been home to many other big names and is just moments from the beach. In true top-model fashion, the sleek spread is also just a short walk from Caruso Village, which has become a high-end retail and dining destination.
Banks, who is controversial these days for her past treatment of America’s Next Top Model contestants, has long been known for flaunting fashion-forward styles. The model and host’s now-former home reflects this part of her legacy well.
Heidi Lake of Sotheby’s International Realty and James Respondek of Rodeo Realty represented the celebrity in the sale.
