U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin Picks up a $12.6M D.C. Home
Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin is the latest cabinet member to make the move to Washington, D.C., reports Realtor.com, shelling out $12.585M for a 9-bedroom, 13-bathroom mansion in the Massachusetts Heights neighborhood of the city. The house was sold in an off-market deal through Washington Fine Properties, so the listing—represented by Nelson Marban and Nancy Taylor Bubes—doesn’t provide much for information but does note that the gated estate features a home fitness room, a sauna, a wine cellar and a screening room. Mnuchin also owns a summer home in Southampton, an Upper East Side apartment and a lavish estate in Bel-Air.
