Where Power Brokers Live: A Sneak Peek into Louise Phillips Forbes' Manhattan Home

Louise Phillips Forbes has been an agent at Halstead for nearly three decades.

She purchased her first apartment—a classic five in an Emery Roth–designed building at 310 West End Avenue—in 1993. A dozen years later, with a husband and two young sons in tow, she combined the residence with the unit above. She admits to dishing out record prices for each, but believes that “when you buy for the right emotional reasons, it always turns out to be a great business decision, too.”
