Zayn Malik Buys Manhattan Bachelor Pad After Splitting from Model Gigi Hadid
One Direction band member turned solo artist Zayn Malik just closed on a posh penthouse located at 63 Greene Street for $10.7 million. The news comes just a week after the sultry singer announced that he and his girlfriend of two years, international supermodel Gigi Hadid, have decided to call things off. While they may not be romantically connected anymore, this sale practically makes the pair neighbors since she owns a spread just a couple blocks away at 10 Bond Street.
That close proximity could have been the initial draw, but Zayn’s new residence still has plenty to offer now that he’s back on the market. Clocking in at 3,567-square-feet, the sprawling space boasts four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and an alluring 1,061-square-foot roof terrace where he can entertain from “Dusk Till Dawn.”
Perched atop a circa-1877 building, the apartment, which used to be a silk-industry showroom, is brimming with historic charm while infusing modern luxuries like a chef’s kitchen and marble bathroom floors. Exposed ducting, barrel-vaulted brick ceilings, and both steel and wooden beams create an industrial and effortlessly stylish aesthetic throughout the unit.
After entering into contract on Valentines Day, a romantic date that's hard to ignore, the property closed on March 13th, according to the NY Post. Records show that it was purchased through Drop Zedd Properties, LLC.
Michael Chapman and Amanda Miller of Stribling had the SoHo listing. On the other side of the country, Harry Styles, another former One Direction heart throb, is trying to sell his glam L.A. pad.
