Carlos Santana’s Longtime Bay Area Retreat Sells for Just Over $5.5M

Just north of San Francisco sits Carlos Santana’s now-former home, nestled into the lush hills of Tiburon, California. Originally listed by the rocker for $5.777 million in August, the 3,785-square-foot contemporary abode has now sold for $5,520,647.

According to the LA Times, the celebrated musician held onto the property for 14 years. Can you blame him? Not much is left up to imagination in terms of views here. With soaring walls of glass facing the Bay, the new owner can wake up to vistas spanning all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge.

While the sleek, open spaces within the home serve to bolster its incredible surroundings, the entrance has a grand moment of its own featuring an ‘acoustical dome’ in the foyer. Continuing through the residence, the floor plan flows effortlessly, from the modern kitchen to an inviting living space. Another shining space is the primary suite. Greeted with warm morning light from its grand windows, one can step out to a tranquil deck straight from bed.

With restaurants and shops nearby, there is lots to do in the area. But, the new owner can easily stay here for a good time. Two outdoor entertaining spaces sit privately facing the breathtaking views, perfect for a party ‘Into the Night’.

And, Santana is not running out of sunny and luxurious homes with this sale. The gifted guitarist snapped up a beautiful Hawaii home just months ago.
