Christmas Queen Mariah Carey Wraps Her Atlanta Estate with a New Price Tag

“I don’t want a lot for Christmas. There is just one thing I need…” We all know how the song goes, but perhaps all Mariah Carey wants for Christmas this year is a triumphant sale on her Atlanta estate. After owning the property for just under a year, the singer listed it in September for $6.5 million. Now, the residence’s price tag has lowered to $5,995,000.

The singer made headlines recently when she made strides to trademark herself as the “Queen of Christmas.” After all, her hit song ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ has been a holiday staple since 1994, just earned the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 songs chart this week for the fourth year in a row, and has made Carey over $60 million in royalties, per NPR. Despite Carey’s success, the singer was not granted permission to trademark the phrase, but her traditional Atlanta estate is fit for a queen.

The bucolic property spans four acres and includes a pool, pool house, tennis courts, a movie theater, and a recording booth—oh, what fun! The 12,575-square-foot home designed by Stephen Fuller has plenty of places to put a Christmas tree…or 10. Space is not scarce whatsoever with nine bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, and four half-baths ready for hosting holiday celebrations year-round.

If you’re singing, “Make my wish come true” about this grand brick house, Shanna Bradley of Ansley Real Estate, an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, holds the listing.
