Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Seek to Sell Their Groovy Miami Mansion for $17M

In the three years that Game of Thrones star Sophia Turner and popstar Joe Jonas have been married, they’ve been quite active on the real estate market. The couple with two small children has bought and sold luxurious homes from L.A. to New York City. This residence of theirs, however, is located in vibrant Miami. According to the Wall Street Journal, Turner and Jonas purchased the 10,416-square-foot waterfront mansion in 2021 for $11 million. Roughly a year later, they’re hoping to score $16.995 million for it.

Tucked in Miami’s guard-gated Bay Point community, the circa-1980 house is an architectural gem. The listing, held by Carl Gambino of Compass, claims it is “reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright’s legendary creations.” Just look at the open floor plan, bold use of stone and wood, and midcentury-esque clean lines. But, there’s also a palpable tropical vibe thanks to the lush views through walls of glass, dark wood, and breezy 30-foot-high ceilings.

The tropical feel is also due to recent updates. The WSJ reports that the celebs brought in interior designer Sarah Ivory, Gambino’s wife, to revamp their home. The project was finished in August and this was their primary residence. Some changes, Ivory told the WSJ, include the indoor water features, moats, and koi ponds being transformed into vertical gardens, more lighting added to the landscape, and a new coat of paint on the exterior. For decor, you’ll find fun choices like Murano chandeliers, colorful Roche Bobois sofas and beds, and custom hand-painted de Gournay wallpaper within the home.

An oasis of fashionable flair and abundant flora, the amenities impress as well. The property offers a 94-foot dock, an outdoor kitchen perfect for entertaining, a spa, and more. While it’s unknown why the couple is selling, they certainly are passing along a dreamy place to call home.
