Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Reel in $15.2M for Jae Omar-Designed Encino Mansion

It seems as though celebrities are always making moves, in or out, of LA’s Encino neighborhood. Recently, Kelly Clarkson sold her Encino home, and Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas just parted ways with theirs as well. The power couple’s Jae Omar-designed mansion went for $15.2 million—the priciest sale in the neighborhood this year, according to the LA Times. It’s also the second priciest home sale ever in Encino, behind none other than Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s $20 million purchase.

It was only three years ago, before marrying the Game of Thrones star, that Joe listed a Sherman Oaks house for $4.25 million. If that was meant to make room for a residence for their next chapter, the pair certainly succeeded in choosing this expansive abode in 2019. Let’s just say, this isn’t your average starter home for newlyweds.

Collectively, the mansion and guest house count 10 bedrooms, 11 full baths, and 3 half baths. Reflecting the couple’s fun vibes, a fog machine, home theater, aquarium, DJ station, and disco lights lie within the property. There’s even a combination refrigerator and beer dispenser known as the kegerator, as well as amenities like a putting green, custom wine cellar, lap pool, and spa.

The home’s design has just as much of a wow factor. Jae Omar’s work is consistently sleek, and here, he focused on embracing the landscape, in particular the historic oak tree at the center of the site. Nearby, Omar’s latest LA project, ŌNIN, is up for sale for design enthusiasts who crave more spaces to ogle at.

Carl Gambino of Compass represented Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner in the sale of their mansion, while Ethan Peskowitz and Fred Bernstein of Westside Estate Agency represented the buyers.
