Waterfront Mansion Becomes Priciest Home for Sale in the Hamptons

Last week saw the unveiling of America’s most expensive listing, a Bel Air mansion with an excess of opulence. Now, a waterfront Southampton estate joins it on the list of the priciest homes in the country. Known as Mylestone at Meadow Lane for its address along the famed “Billionaire Lane,” the spread asks a stunning $175 million. Now the most expensive property for sale in the Hamptons, Mylestone sits unrivaled on the market.

With Shinnecock Bay to one side and the Atlantic Ocean to the other, Mylestone is all about the water. The estate spans approximately eight acres, including a 70-foot heated gunite pool, a private deepwater dock to the bay, and a private boardwalk to the beach.

Reflecting this coastal location, the 15,521-square-foot mansion wears blue and white on the exterior. From the light-filled rooms, the home’s 500-feet of ocean frontage is always tempting, though there is much to take in right on the lavish grounds. Together, the main house and guest cottage tally 11 bedrooms, 12 full bathrooms, and 4 half bathrooms. But the estate’s sheer scale is not the only gasp-worthy element. An abundance of amenities, including a tennis court and a basketball court, surely contributes to the monumental price tag.

Bespoke Real Estate holds the listing, which The Real Deal reports is currently owned by former advertising exec Marcia Riklis.
