Shaun White Parts Ways with Beachfront Malibu Compound

The inimitable Shaun White can do it all—win gold medals for snowboarding, skate a flawless halfpipe—the list goes on and on. Now, the Olympian can finally add selling this Malibu compound to his tally. The spread made up of two separate land parcels wanted $12.75 million in 2019, but relisted for $11 million this past January. Now, it is at last out of White’s hands for the final closing price of $8 million.

Much more for the sunny skater lifestyle than the snowboarder, the home offers a dream location for beachy living. Perched on Point Dume, it has over an acre of grassy lawns and overlooks the ocean. The 2,164-square-foot Craftsman house is all about the flow between indoors and out, with glass doors framing the tides and brilliant sunsets. Ideal for the extreme sports fan, the Pacific beyond no doubt boasts its share of thrilling moments with surfers always dotting the horizon.

Inside, three bedrooms and two bathrooms offer privacy in the otherwise open-concept home. A great room encompasses the kitchen, dining, and living rooms, connecting to an outdoor terrace ideal for taking in the views. The adjacent pool adds even more beauty to the landscape, though the ocean vistas surely get most of the attention.

Aaron Kirman of Aaron Kirman Group and Chris Cortazzo of Compass held the rad listing.
