Tour Rihanna’s Former Beverly Hills Mansion Currently Listed for $16.5M
For avid Rihanna fans, this week has been enough to make you want to call in sick from work, kick up your feet, and soak up all the new RiRi content. No, not a new album, but fingers-crossed that’s next.
Since Sunday, not only did the billionaire Fenty founder and artist give a mic drop-worthy Super Bowl halftime performance—announcing her second pregnancy ever-so-cooly in the process—but she and A$AP Rocky gave their 9-month-old son his fashion debut on the cover of British Vogue. With the Oscars up next thanks to her moving songs in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, to say the Barbados-born superstar is thriving is an understatement. Right now, it’s Rihanna’s world and we’re just happy to be living in it.
While it’s wonderful to see the powerhouse performer out in the spotlight, something from her past is also busy shining bright like a diamond on the L.A. luxury market. This Beverly Hills mansion, where the singer lived from 2011 to 2014, is up for sale seeking $16.495 million. According to the NY Post, she dropped just above $5 million on it, but much has changed since then.
The 8,520-square-foot contemporary with seven bedrooms was scooped up by John Legend and Chrissy Teigen not long after Rihanna moved out. Nabbing it for roughly $14 million, the celebrity duo remodeled the home and resided there from early 2016 to July 2021. They made sure to leave their mark on its design, channeling Teigen’s family’s Southeast Asian roots with special touches like the hand-carved, patterned ceiling in the living room imported from Thailand.
Built in 1966 but significantly transformed through the years, the Beverly Hills home’s 33-foot custom ceilings, sunken living room, and brass fireplaces exude casual glamour. A great atmosphere for unwinding or throwing after parties, wall-length glass doors slide open effortlessly to reveal lush patios, a heated pool, a jacuzzi, and an outdoor kitchen. Meanwhile, the primary suite has its own glam room, showroom-style closet worthy of award-show gowns, and spa-like bath.
If it’s good enough for Rihanna, John Legend, and Chrissy Teigen, it’s surely worth a look from buyers with millions to spend. Carl Gambino of Compass and Justin P. Huchel of Carolwood Estates share the 90210 listing, currently owned by Stuart Elman of Persistence Capital Partners.
