Bruce Willis Sells Picturesque, 22-Acre Bedford Corners Estate

While many believe the holiday season to be a slow time for real estate, A-list actor Bruce Willis just proved that wrong in a flash. The Die Hard star and his wife Emma Heming listed their stunning Bedford Corners, NY home last January for $12.95 million and almost a year later, it has officially sold for $7.66 million. Though not the price the celebrity pair was shooting for, the fact that they have successfully settled into a new home in California and was one of the largest transactions in Westchester County in 2019 still makes this a win.

Across four picturesque structures, there are 13,971-square-feet of interiors elegantly staged by award-winning design firm LTW Design. Clocking in at 9,000-square-feet, the main house is no doubt the heart of the 22.6-acre property. Along with airy open spaces perfect for entertaining, the home offers unique areas like a glass octagon tower where one can take in the beautiful Croton Reservoir views.

Counting the lovely cottages sprinkled on the estate as well, the Bedford homestead has a total of 12 bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and three half bathrooms. Boasting a tennis court, pool, wine cellar, and media room, there will never be a reason for the new owner to leave the fun-filled estate. However, when he or she does need a change of scenery, New York City is just an hour away.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Willis and Heming paid about $12 million for this pristine property, so the new owner gets to move in for quite a deal. Nancy Strong, Stacey Oestreich, and Ann Cutbill Lenane of Douglas Elliman had the 340 Croton Lake Road listing.
