Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky Reel in $6.1M for Redesigned Bel Air Home

The leading ladies of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are well-acquainted with luxury and fashion, and season 1 veteran Kyle Richards is no exception. In true celebutante fashion, the reality TV star and her real estate tycoon husband Mauricio Umansky, who dailyDEEDS interviewed last year, have long owned an oasis in Bel Air. Early seasons show their family life unfolding there and then a long renovation before they ultimately moved and began trying to sell the home. Now, after spending years on and off the market, the A-list abode just sold to author Amanda Frances for $6.1 million.

Tucked in one of the City of Angels’ most exclusive communities, the home’s former occupants (which include tenant Sutton Stracke as well) enjoyed VIP amenities in a tree-lined, tranquility setting. Amidst 6,229-square-feet, all seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms afford views of lush greenery. The grounds also hold a tennis court, and of course, a pool.

Star-studded even in its decor, Richards’ and Kris Jenner’s longtime friend Faye Resnick assisted the couple in the home’s transformative renovation. Guided by Resnick’s modish eye, fireplaces cozy many spaces, including the spacious kitchen, glamorous yet rustic bar, and formal living room.

The new owner can now enjoy dinner parties (sans screaming and film crews) surrounded by bespoke features, perhaps reminiscing on the reality TV history made here. Mauricio Umansky himself, alongside daughters Alexia Umansky and Farrah Brittany, of The Agency held the listing, while Steve Frankel of Coldwell Banker’s Beverly Hills North office repped the buyer.
